Our Story
My name is Steven Durham, and carpentry has been woven into my life since childhood. I entered the trade at the age of 14, learning under the influence, guidance, and support of my dad — a skilled craftsman known for creating high-end church furniture. Although I no longer work alongside him, the standards he set and the pride he took in his work continue to shape every project I take on today.
With decades of experience in carpentry and joinery, my passion lies in bringing customers' ideas to life. I love taking thoughts, sketches, and inspiration and turning them into practical, realistic, and beautifully crafted solutions. I'm a perfectionist by nature — always thinking four steps ahead to ensure every detail is future-proofed, functional, and never a problem for the next trade or the end user.
Two mottos guide the way I work: "When attention to detail matters" and "Don't conform but transform." These reflect my desire to raise the standards of the construction and trade industry — to be different, to think deeper, and to deliver work that truly transforms a home.
